Auditions for the Summer Worship Arts Team will be on Saturday, March 27.
Journey Worship Arts auditions are a little different than you may think. There will be no Simon Cowell’s there… in fact, the goal of these auditions is to help you find the right place of service and begin serving on this incredible team. So, don’t worry, it’s a fun process!
Here are the teams that you can join at the auditions:
Band * Dance * Design * Drama * Media and Production * Vocal * Writing

- Band: The band is made up of instrumentalists (from drums and bass, to violins and cellos), who bring the Sunday service worship experience to life.
- Dance Team: For dancers of all genres, the Dance Team choreographs and performs pieces that move and inspire.
- Design Team: The Design Team is made up of graphic, industrial, set and interior designers as well as illustrators and visual artists who work in the areas of fine art, such as painting, photography, sculpting, and more. The Design Team creates the exciting visual environment of the Journey’s Sunday services.
- Drama Team: Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a growing actor, the Drama Team performs quality drama that entertains, encourages introspection and effectively communicates the message being delivered.
- Production Team: The Production Team is responsible for Media and Technical production at The Journey. Made up of camera operators, editors, journalists; sound, light, and video engineers; stage and set crew, the Production Team is open to all levels of experience and expertise.
- Vocal Team: The Vocal Team is for those who love to sing in a small ensemble and lead worship at the Sunday services with energy and enthusiasm.
- Writing Team: The Writing Team is made up of writers of all backgrounds, including journalism, script, poetry, and screenplay and are responsible for writing for various Journey stage and screen productions.
