The Journey Church is growing rapidly and we are currently looking for a few key people to help us continue to expand our reach to the people of New York City. We provide all of our employees with opportunities for spiritual, personal and professional growth.
FULL-TIME POSITIONS:
- Worship Leaders - Can you join with our worship arts staff to lead worship at a very high level, and bring musical excellence to the stage, to worship planning, and to cultivating highly experienced musicians in New York City? Do you have a high view 'serving as part of discipleship' and do you have a strong desire to reach unchurched artists and young professionals? In this full-time position, you will work with the Worship Arts Pastor to lead worship in one of The Journey’s metro locations, raise up musicians and volunteer leaders, lead a proven music and worship planning system, and assist in growing an already dynamic music ministry in a multi-site setting. PART-TIME POSITIONS:
- Video Editor - Part-time position open for experienced video editors. Thorough knowledge of Final Cut Pro needed. Editors would work to prepare media for Journey Sunday services, including clips, Sunday message edits and possible on-location shoots. Email jason@journeymetro.com for more information.
- Sunday Production – Positions available with The Journey Production Team in all Journey locations. Some media/technical experience beneficial. Flexible midweek schedule. Also includes work at Sunday service. Email jason@journeymetro.com for more information.
- The Journey-Jersey City Sunday Coordinator – The Journey is currently looking for someone with an eye for detail and a desire to make Journey attenders feel welcome and comfortable. The Sunday Coordinator position would entail leading set-up before the service, working with volunteers and staff to ensure the Sunday service is a home-run and leading tear down following the service. - Opportunities for Drummers and Lead Guitarists - If you are a seasoned drummer or lead guitarist looking for an opportunity to play alongside quality musicians in a high-energy, fun environment, contact Jason Hatley (Pastor of Worship Arts) to learn how to audition for The Journey's Worship Arts Team. - Sunday Coordinator - Part-Time positions are available on Sundays to work with our team to insure that each Sunday is a great experience for those who attend. Part time shifts are available in midtown from 7:30am - 1:30pm and 2:00pm - 8:30pm. Pay is negotiable. Punctuality and an eye for detail is a must. Send resumes and questions to adam@journeymetro.com
- Journey Kidz Sunday Coordinator (Part Time - Sundays) - If you have a heart to work with children and you love Sundays, then this is the job for you! The Journey is currently seeking a few part-time people to work with Journey Kidz on Sundays. This person would help lead the children's ministry on Sundays through the set-up and tear down of the children's areas, directing volunteers, leading the check-in and helping implement the weekly programming.
