Journey Kidz
Journey Kidz offers an excellent children’s program every Sunday—in fact, our goal is that Sunday at church will be the BEST HOUR of your child’s week! Our prayer is that children will know, show, and tell of the love of Jesus Christ and have a love for the local church. It is our mission to support you, as a parent, by aiding you in seeing your child become a fully-developing follower of Jesus.
Journey Kidz - Manhattan
• Nursery (Birth-23 months) is available at the 10:00AM, 11:30AM and 1PM services. Located on the 7th floor of the Manhattan Center, directly across from the elevators. In addition to the childcare provided in the nursery, we have a special changing station and a nursing area - with a live video feed of the service - just for moms!
In the nursery at Journey Kidz, we strive to create a fun, safe, and friendly environment where babies sense God’s love through caring volunteers, bible stories, play and other meaningful activities.
• Pre-school (2-5 years) is available at the 10:00AM, 11:30AM and 1PM services. Located on Floor 6M (one floor down from the ballroom) of the Manhattan Center. Follow the footsteps as you exit the elevator on the 7th floor!
Children at the preschool level are incredibly curious about the world, and are learning things at an extremely fast rate! Through Bible Stories, creative activities, and worship, children discover that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Parents are also provided with ideas to spark conversation with their children at home.
• Elementary (grades 1-5) is available at the 10:00AM and 11:30AM services . Located on the 8th floor of the Manhattan Center. Follow the footsteps as you exit the elevator on the 7th floor!
The Journey Kidz Elementary Ministry focuses on building the foundation of faith so that children can become world changers. Through music, Bible stories, videos, games, and activities children in grades 1 through 5 come to know God more deeply and develop their faith. Children learn how to make wise choices, that they can trust God no matter what, and how they should treat others.
Journey Kidz Team Members
The Journey takes our ministry to children seriously. Our team consists of members in good standing at The Journey. All have had a background check and receive ongoing training.
